Fairfax is 405 square MILES. There's a lot of different people around here. With that said is it really surprising there's people like this? I see folks buying beer and lottery tickets at 9am at my local 7-11.

I truly believe that those people are trying to compensate for something they were missing from their childhood.

Not everyone wants to be tied down to a life as an indentured servant to expensive cars and homes. There are those that are quite happy going to a warehouse to work putting in their time and going home. Instead of being tied to a cell phone on nights and weekends because the boss has a few more questions.

I know a guy who is 61 living at home with mom, and cried enough about being beaten at the ADC by deputies that she bought him a harley. I think that was sweet of her and hey if his mom favors him over her other kids who are all doing ok on their own, he'll get millions when she passes on.
The op sounds a little jealous. Bikers are freedom loving people and generally are very considerate live and let live types.
I'm not interested in trusting others on the road with so little protection in this area. But lookout when my work in fairfax county is done off into the sunset on my dresser I will go.
