What is going on today in Burke/West Springfield?

I was at the Rolling Road 7-11 Gas Station and inside saw 2 FBI/Police uniformed officers. In the shopping center right next to it with the Bank of America ATM/CVS/Giant I saw a woman walking with an NCIS Special Agent Coat on. Is there anything big going on around here?

A DC film crew is scouting outings for an upcoming film for NCIC West Springfield. Ive already updated my Actors Guild card!

You are partially right. They are filming for NCIS in the Burke/Springfield Fairfax Station/Clifton area over the next two weeks . Off-Duty FCPD were asked to provide security.

A casting call for local extras was held a couple of weeks ago. My wife is playing a reporter in the scenes they are shooting tomorrow and Thursday.

I saw a ton of cops on the corner of Ashbridge Ct and Shiplett Blvd. I literally counted 8 cops. They all had their fog lights on but it looked like they were gathered around a non-cop car or two
