The roads in Clifton
Posted by: Joes ()

The roads in Clifton are old and falling apart. Potholes, cracks, debris. I imagine that zip code pays a fortune in taxes. I would expect better roads for my tax dollars if I lived there. I expected more from Clifton. Do the residents care?

Clifton is a tiny area in FFX County that the residents hope the rest of FFX would forget. They like how Clifton is somewhat secluded. I'm sure that they would want their roads in better conditions since they do pay a lot in taxes because of the sheer number of mansions that are in that area. You don't see apartment buildings in the Clifton zipcode. There is a townhouse development in the Clifton zipcode which is right on Braddock Rd but those townhouses are the luxury type townhouses. I remember them being built in the early 90's. The only shopping center in the Clifton zipcode is the one there next to the Shell gas station on Union Mill Rd. Clifton is like Great Falls it's really only for the richy rich type people. A perfrect example of this is Doyle Rd. which is right off of Braddock Rd. Drive down that road. It's partly paved then turns into a gravel road. There is a resident there who is/was trying to sell their mansion for $14 million.

The problem with the roads down in Clifton is the zillions of Prince William maggots that rip and roar through there every morning and evening. They beat the shit out of the roads.

I have to laugh, you should see the high dollar cars some of these assholes drive out of Prince Ghetto County. Who are they trying to kid? There should be a rule, your car cannot cost more than your grimy townhouse!

The other day one of these fools ran off Henderson Rd into an embankment and flipped his fancy car over. It ain't fancy no more LOL.

I hope the shitbird knocked some sense into himself.

When they're all racing from the Occoquan River bridge in the morning, and towards it in the afternoon---it's a pretty safe bet that they're commuting to and from the ghetto on the other side of the bridge.

This is weekday rush hours times, not when folks might want to take a drive in the country. These motherfuckers are going to work.

I'm not saying they are or they are not.

I'm just saying that you are a fucking crackhead if
a) you are sitting on the bridge watching them cross it or
b) you seriously think ppl who live in 20124 drive any better/nicer/slower than the PW ppl

All roads in Fairfax County West of Rte. 123 & South of Braddock Rd. that are double yellow lined should have speed humps, like those on Yates Ford Rd. between Chapel Rd. & Clifton Rd.

The resultS would be:

*Substantially reduced PWC cut-through traffic

*Substantially reduced weekend crotch-rocket-riding numbskull invation

*Peace & quiet for all!

Fairfax Stationnaire out.

you also forgot

a) exponentially increased travel times FOR EVERYONE on Parkway in that area as well as on Braddock, 123, 28 and 66 (or do you think that traffic will magically disappear?)

b) increased honking from outsiders

c) increased bitching from insiders

and as I recall, y'all ganstas roll hard in South County

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/09/13/AR2010091306579.html

so I'm not too sure it's all peace and quiet for all LoLz

The roads West of Rte. 123 & South of Braddock Rd. wouldn't be blocked, the traffic would just be 'calmed'. Probably 60 - 70% of current users would suck it up and continue to drive through W. Fairfax. I don't think your 'exponential' increase in travel times on Parkway, Braddock, 123, 28 and 66 would materialize.

Fuck the pussies who'd honk. After a while, they'd get tired of their childishness.

As for Patton & Carr, there'd be too many speed humps & too many responsible parties for that sort of inciudent to happenm again.

I dunno..............Davis Store right down the street LoLz.

anyways, aint gonna happen - they dont put humps on 35 MPH feeder roads. And thats what Hampton, Henderson, Clifton, etc - all of them are. THRU ROADS.

You want peace and quiet? Live in a neighborhood. No thru traffic on a dead end street LoLz

Clifton roads are so ghetto! I run them all the time because I choose to live in the PWC where taxes are lower and schools are better. Fairfax county is so done!!

I know, right? After we chased all the illegals out, they all went to Fairfax. PWC has become a good place to live, unlike FFX which has become an over-populated, litter covered, Little Mexico.

Clifton = East Manassas. If it was in PW, it would have much different reputation. They need to do what FFX county did in Great Falls - every single road that connects FFX to Loudoun north of 7 has been closed to keep the rif raff off the roads.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Boi (plural: bois) is a term used within LGBT and butch and femme communities to refer to a person's sexual and/or gender identities.[1][2] In lesbian communities, there is an increasing acceptance of variant gender expression, as well as allowing people to identify as a boi.[3][4][5] The term may denote a number of possibilities that are not mutually exclusive:[6]
A "boi" is (generally) the younger male who prefers older men, and is the "boi" in a "daddy and boi" dating, relationship, or sexual situation, where "boy" and "boi", respectively, are used to differentiate between someone who is underage, and someone who just identifies as the younger who wants or needs someone older. In this context, "boi" can be masculine or effeminate, or anywhere along that spectrum, and some males identify as a "boi" well beyond their 20s, and especially so long as they are involved with older men. Often, though not always, a "boi" prefers the submissive role.
A younger person, possibly embodying stereotyped attributes towards casual sex and commitment in relationships, in contrast with the stereotype of the U-Haul lesbian. Bois may not identify as butch, regarding butches as playing a more powerful or responsible role – the "man of the house" – while a boi is still in a freer, younger phase.
A submissive butch in the BDSM community, or a younger butch in the butch-femme community.[7]
A young trans man, or a trans man who is in the earlier stages of transitioning.[7]
A term of endearment for butches by femmes.[7] It may also be used in the gay community to refer to a younger person – bisexual or gay – who may have effeminate characteristics.[7] The term can also be used by anyone who wishes to distinguish from heterosexual or heteronormative identities.[7]
Boi may also refer to a female-bodied person, who generally does not identify as, or only partially identifies as feminine, female, a girl, or a woman. Some bois are transsexual, transgendered, or intersexed.[8] Some "bois" identify as one or more of these, but they almost always identify as lesbians, dykes, or queers. Many are also genderqueer or practice genderfuck. Bois may prefer a range of pronouns, including "he", "she", or non-binary and gender-neutral pronouns such as "they", "co", "hir", "sie", "zie", and "ey".[9] The term has found increasing usage in the larger LGBT culture.

The BOS has plans for taking care of the roads. Developing Clifton is the name of the project. Be patient. The developers will take care of the roads in due course.

nice attempt on drainage between fields

but i see nothing at the sides of the roads to "hold the sides of the road"

say hello to edges of the road sagging !

should have looked up the code for road building. maybe next time ! i feel your pain.

Keep your annoying speed 'humps' to where you live. The rest of us don't need the aggravation nor do we want to pay for them. Thanks.
