Sounds like it may be coming from Quantico. Just stepped outside right now and heard it for about a minute.

dude, Im not too sure what yr hearing, but one thing's for sure it aint Quantico, k? Yr not hearing that in "ceterville" - Quantico is on the other side OF ANOTHER COUNTY from you, ok? B.S. My house would slightly rattle in Warrenton from live fire. Sound travels far when they are shooting 155.

...Not saying thats what the noise is that you heard today, but you most certainly CAN hear the booms from explosive training at Quantico, especially on an overcast day.
