Springfield Mall Name of Steak house?

Early 80's I think, there was a steak house in Springfield mall. Does anyone remember the name of it? After going through the line you would sit at the table with a plastic number stand and they would bring you your steak. Fond memories there, but can't believe I can't remember the name of the restaurant!

I remember there was Blackie's House of Beef across from the mall. Don't know if this is how they served the food.

Does York ring a bell? I'm pretty sure that's the one you're talking about.

"remember there was Blackie's House of Beef across from the mall. "
And Nightclub!
IMO not up to the "real" Blackie's standard, but what a place. York, though, was @ the mall...

I always ordered a #3 medium with steak fries. #3 was chopped beef steak.

Best meal ever. I still reminisce about eating there.

But I remember it at Fair oaks mall near the Sears entrance early 1980's.

At Springfield Mall Taco Larado was my fav, I was a total sucker for it and always had to get at least a couple tacos or more. Maqybe thats why I did not notice York

York was a good place , as was Buckaroo Steak House in Ravensworth, Rustler, Ponderosa before these cheap type of steakhouses became

"all you can eat buffet slop chutes."

Pizza Delight was excellent pizza! Remember the Sicilian style slices that were real thick and good. Great place. Too bad the owners got busted in a cocaine sting. Apparantely they were getting good shit from Colombians
