so why'd that house blow up?

anybody with any follow up on this? Gas in a Kerosene Heater? Faulty Gas Line? Meth Lab? What fueled this thing?

was that house in South Riding the last one that has spontaneously blown up around here?

I heard it was a small gas leak that started the fire but the cause of the inferno afterwards was because of hoarding. Thousands of newspapers and books stacked halfway to the ceiling.


Always a risk with gas. Give me an all electric house with a nice clean heat pump any day. I once worked for WGL and saw too many near misses.

The Baby Jesus hates the hearing impaired. This house was burned down with great vengeance and furious anger because the inhabitants...were deaf.

It must have been a huge explosion/fire, the house is right around the corner from fire station 18. Of course, they could have been on another call.

Engine Co. 418 is pictured on the Patch link. They must have seen the glow when they were rolling out of the station.

A contractor was hiring illegal aliens and putting them in burning houses to avoid paying them. DUHHHHHHHH I still think this horseshit is HI-LARIOUS, even after all these years!
