There are plenty of hooker bars in DC. We do not need any in Virginia.

I checked it out last night and its not a shithole in any way. Its pretty hot actually. Not the hole in the wall hookah place i thought it would be at all. Too many of those in this area. But this was actually a nice spot.

Lol. some of you guys are pretty funny. Stereotyping the place without even going there or maybe just hating on it. i mean i wouldnt say stuff without even seeing it. some people are just looking for attention and just post negative stuff. its a cool place. not stereotypical at all.

BLue Myst is a hookah bar within Ariana kabob House which is a restaurant that is operational 7 days a week. The hookah bar itself only operates on thursdays and fridays for right now. Based on the type of response the hookah bar gets they will be expanding to all nights of the week.

So the restaurant part is the main contributor to the lease payment. These are the facts not assumptions like others have posted on here.

Too much damn negativity i swear.

I was at Blue Myst this past Friday and I've never seen a place so jam packed esp a hookah bar! I loved the hookah bar set-up....they took the whole bar and instead of drinks they acutally served hookah. Another thing I loved and was fascinated by was the attire of the hookah servers. They work blue jeans jeans with red dress shirt w/ a skinny black tie and vests. Their outfits looked HOT!. Not to mention the guys working at Blue Myst had excellent service.....plus they were cute too!

Hookah bar makes local papers this week, seems they don't have a liquor license. No beer? What's the point?

http://www.fairfaxtimes.com/news/2008/aug/26/blue-myst-hookah-bar-packs-different-flavor/

I guess it's also only on certain days -

"Every week we have more and more people coming and complaining about other places that aren't clean, that have bad service and that the sheesha isn't as fresh," Waqqas said.

The partners are in talks with the restaurant owners to expand the hookah operation to six or seven days a week

Long story short, the places smelled like B.O.

I will not go back.

I don't smoke and I don't like people who think smoking is cool. I thought smoking was against the Koran?

But, I'll probably go there and check it out cuz we need more cool spots in Fairfax. I just won't smoke the tabacco weed.

As long as idiots don't ruin it with fights, drugs and pimping it is welcomed in Fairfax by me and I'm lovinfairfax!!

As for the purported B.O., alas, that's a problem. But it can be solved with a daily shower.

From what I understand, Ariana Kabob House was bought out by the owners of Lebnan Zaman, a dirty, hole-in-the-wall shisha spot on Old Courthouse Road by Tysons Corner. That place is infested by dirty Arab men and it seems that Ariana's fate will be the same. As far as Hookah Consultants and their operations, I'm sure they'll find a new spot soon.

I hope you are referring to the new ownership/management when you say "this place blows" because Blue Myst no longer exists. The Lebanon Zaman people bought the property. This posting was for Blue Myst which has now closed. If you would like to write about the new place that has opened in its spot please start a new forum. Im sure a lotta people will reply back and agree that lebanon zaman sucks compared to hookah consultants' blue myst that was there before.
