Please donate to a family in need

My friends son was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. He is only 18 months old. They have set up a donation site to help with the expenses of treatment. If you are able to donate, please do. If you cant, please donate a few moments of your day and say a prayer for him. EVERY little bit helps. They are a great family with a very rough/long road ahead of them. Thank you.

How do we know this isn't a scam and you won't use the money for an 80 inch TV or for a down payment on a car?

Valid question. Doesn't look like a scam, but who knows anymore. In any case, a prayer wouldn't hurt and might help.

I cant prove it isnt a scam. I can only tell you its my friends family... those that believe and either pray or donate, awsome.. those that think its a scam and dont, thats okay too. With all the scams out there, I understand the caution.

He does also have a website on caring bridge, but i am spreading the word wherever i can.

However donations to that site go to other families in honor of him. The site i provided above (http://www.gofundme.com/1t882c), donations go directly to the family and their medical bills. On the caringbridge site, you can follow his journal (written by his mother and aunt) and his treatment.
