All the rings at the mall are new. She would like a vintage setting. Any jewelers carry vintage fine jewelry in Fairfax? Any tips for me guys? I'm proposing on Valentines Day.

You should go to a real old cemetery and find a super old tombstone and dig up
Some old as shit dead bitch I bet they have a super antique ring you can have

I always enjoy the story of love. all jacked up to buy a ring and mad in love, such a beautiful emotion.

Fast forward 10 years.....that same ring ends up in a pawn shop, half of your shit is gone, and you hate her guts...

Love is one hell of a drug.

Very small problem with the pawn shop:

NEVER tell her you bought the a ring at a pawn shop...Cover your ass on that one. You will never hear the end of it.

Some of the non chain jewelry stores sell diamonds and rings on a consignment basis.

A few years ago, my husband and I were looking for an antique engagement ring for me. What we discovered was that an antique would not withstand the day to day wear and tear, so we ended up going to Ron George in Annapolis and he designed an antique looking ring. Best wishes to you and your precious one.

If you don't need to see it in person before you buy, you can generally do better online than in a store. Just avoid ebay...

I've had good luck with this place: https://eragem.com/

Go to one of the many antique stores and malls around here. There are tons in the Leesburg area if you want a concentration of them.

Call Boone and Sons in McLean and ask what they have. Great store, wonderful service - and a wide range of prices.
