Another Bob Costas Rant Coming tomorrow?

God--I just want to watch football on Sunday. Will we now suffer through another Bob Costas rant on restoring prohibition and banning SUVs and all automobiles after Josh Brent, prior DUI, killed a teammate whilst drunk again?

Knowing Bob Costas, and how his liberal puke for a mind works, he will probably say that this is "just a misunderstanding."

Bob needs to focus his time on finding a better wigmaker and elevator shoe designer and less time blathering on about a subject of which his has very little knowledge.

Yes, Bob wears a wig.

You got that right. He's a lightweight for sure. I'd like to see him debate Wayne LaPierre but I doubt he has the kahunas.

Alcohol played the role of the gun in this murder, not the car. And yes, you always hear people like Costas ragging on drunk drivers. It's nothing new. Guns kill and so does alcohol.

Drinking alcohol and then driving HAS been banned for years. Government stepped in and did something up about it. Wasnt the end of the world. Still waiting for the government to step up and address the handgun and assault rifle issues that plague this country.

Shooting an innocent person with a firearm has also been banned for years...!!! Even longer than drinking alcohol and riding a horse down the main street of Dodge city....

Geeze.

Its almost like criminals dont care about the law and ignore them. Good thing banning guns would stop murders................

If they don't agree with it, yes indeed, at least in the opinion of the little bed-wetting, sky-is-falling fools like bob costas

Yeah murder has always been illegal. Whether its by gun or because if DWI. That isn't the issue. The issue is that Americans are stupid and violent. Combine that with the fact that the constitution clearly states that firearms are for militias (today's national guard). What does all of that mean? It means handguns and assault rifles should be banned from the general public. Simple as that. That would cut down on murder rates in this county. Plain and simple.

I love how the crazy right wing redneck dummy gun nuts bring up the Supreme Court interpretation of guns like the court makes no mistakes but they were all shitting themselves when the Supreme Court ruled that Obama Care was legal. Can't have it both ways. Bottom line - guns kill, and so do the cowards who use them.

I love how the crazy 'radical' dummy lefties have no respect for cops or the military and have no trust at all in 'the man' as far as things like that go, yet they want them to be the only ones with guns. lol

The court's already dealt with gun ownership and what constitutes reasonable restrictions for the foreseeable future with the Heller decision. Settled law at this point. Sorry.

Guns are banned in England, Japan, Canada, Norway and other more currently successful countries than the US.

And the court already dealt with Obama Care. Settled law at this point. Sorry.

Obamacare has nothing to do with anything but, regardless, health care is not a constitutional right. Sorry.

Guns are not 'banned' in England, Japan, Canada, or Norway. But going by the same logic, there are many places where they actually are banned, yet both the murder and suicide rates are higher than in the US. Likewise, there are places with higher per capita gun ownership yet the gun-related murder and suicide rates are lower. Now to a normal thinking person, that might tend to imply that there's likely some other societal factors driving the rates, but to a dumb parrot like you I'd guess not. lol

It's only a matter of time until the handguns and assault rifles are banned. The libs are winning the war. They are smarter than we are. Look, they already have gay marriage spreading to the states. Msrijuana is now becoming legal as is gambling. They are winning the war on Xmas. They have their commie in office. They got women more rights. Pro choice is still there. Obamacare won. Lets face it, they are winning. We are too dumb to compete with these narrow minded liberal jerks. Guns will be banned soon. I'm mad as heck.

No, no it doesnt.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Notice the commas, the right of the people and militia are separated and being in a militia has no bearing on the right to bear arms just like every legal scholar and supreme court decision says.

Just for the sake of argument, all a militia is is a group of people with guns. So by your definition all you would have to do is go buy guns with a few friends or know people with guns to own them. Both your incorrect ready of the 2nd amendment and the real meaning of it result in people owning guns

As now clarified and settled under Heller. Anyone still making the militia argument hasn't been keeping up with events.
