Approved: That the School Board award a contract for the modular project at Frost Middle School to Pinnacle Construction, Incorporated, in the amount of $834,000, and authorize the Division Superintendent, or the Chief Operating Officer, to execute and administer the contract on behalf of the School Board.
Key Points:
Funding for this project will be provided from the 2011 School Bond Referendum.
This project entails site work and preparation of the owner-furnished modular structure. Bids were received on October 10, 2012. A bid tabulation is furnished below. The contractor has not performed work for the School Board in the past. However, a comprehensive review of their references and experience has been completed.
The modular structure will be purchased by FCPS and delivered to the site. The cost of the modular structure is not included in this project.
