Bon Jovi's "Because We Can" Tour 2013

$210 per ticket (!) at the Verizon Center for floor seats. The main concourse and the upper concourse range from $75 to $210. Forget the nosebleed seats.
They got the name for their tour after someone asked why they're charging so much per ticket.
I'm sure there will be some haters here. Whatever. It would be a great show, but not great enough for those prices. The only benefit to those prices is that it might price the shitheads out of the market. Eh, maybe I'll get lucky and see it on Palladia.

Count me in as a hater.
The price is ridiculous, but what's worse is that it's at Verizon Center. The acoustics there are horrible and I won't see anymore concerts there at all, even if it's free.

I don't know what I find more surprising...
Their ticket prices. That people will pay those prices. That Verizon Center will be sold out for this show. That of all the bands to come from the Hair Band era, these were the only mooks that are still as big if not bigger then they were 25 years ago.
But frankly, nothing should surprise me from a band whose box set is called, "100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong"...
I can't wait until these guys take up residency as my generation's contribution to "Retirement Rock" in places like Branson, MO.

I'd stay off the road the night they play. Thousands of soccer moms out on the town for a night of fun could lead to numerous accidents.
