Robinson Girls Basketball

Robinsons first game of the season they had a player who had just transferred back to the school the day before the game so at the most she was able to practice 1 day with team. Not only did the coach play her she was a starter and except for her getting in foul trouble she played the entire game.
My question is is this fair to the other 14 players on that team that went thru tryouts and all the practices for this player to come and play from day one. A little back ground, she did play for Robinson 2 years ago but transferred out to play for a private school and went back to the private school till Nov. 27
Myself I have no respect for the coach after doing this. Just do not think it is the right thing to do to the players who were there last year and the start of this year. What message us being sent to these young adults?

"What message us being sent to these young adults?"

It sends the message that life is not fair. that WINNING is VERY important and the most talented get ahead. Just like in the business world which they are about to join and be shocked to find out that everyone IS NOT a winner.

The Coach's job is to put the people in the game that the Coach feels gives the team the best chance of winning the game. If a player (or most often the players parents) do not agree with this basic philosophy in team sports, they are free to leave the team and enjoy the sport in a less competitive environment. The best players should play and if this transfer was eligible, parents should stay out of it.

as a parent wouldnt you want your childs team to win and be as best as possible.if that means starting a transfer then why would you care.high school sports are serious around here its about winning not about making people feel good about themselves so the coaches are gonna do whatever it takes to be successful and if you were a true robinson fan you would support that

Sorry but No coach tops the LB coach in terms of anything related to not forming a true team. But hey many if their players quit the sport so there are openings

You mad bro. Stop whining. If your daughter could drain buckets, she would get playing time instead of pine time.

Yes. But what about Lake Braddock?

Posting on the internet about someone behind their back is the new talking to them. Lame.
