Why do you keep your wallet and purse in your car overnight? And why don't you lock your car door?

They were after the money, BTW. That should have been obvious, but you had to ask because you obviously don't possess much common sense.

Then why would the not steal the purse or gps?! It also is worth money, which is what they are after. @OP, my guess is a drunk was hopping around looking for just enough change to a couple more 40's.

Are you a product of FCPS? They didn't steal the purse because, like I said, THEY WERE AFTER THE MONEY. Not things that are worth money but they couldn't pawn.

Then you basically give the same answer I did, they were looking for the money.

You don't think too well.

Must be that international ashtray ring that steals car ashtrays and then ships them off to Saudi Arabia.

I understand why you are oddlyconfused, though. You leave your purse, wallet, $20 cash and your debit card in an unlocked car overnight. You'd have to be oddlyconfused to do something that fucking stupid.

some people have a strange desire to have sex with automotive ash trays. The ones from the Ford motor company are the hottest.

It's obviously a smoker who needed some spare change for the vending machine. Now that you no longer have an ashtray for which you have no use, may I suggest you replace with a cupholder? All our parts are made in the USA. Just stop by.

Lighten up, Francis. It's a valid question. If someone was getting into cars and taking the ashtrays but not other valuables (such as GPS, stereos, wallets, purses, etc.), I'd be a little confused, too. It's like someone entering your house, passing up electronics and jewelry, but stealing your corn-on-the-cob holders.

A mexican outside the 7-11 on Backlick tried to sell me an ashtray. Do you live in Springfield and was the ashtray unused?

Stealing ashtrays is probably part of a new gang initiation ritual.

I detect something sinister, perverse.

Whoever took those ashtrays will be back.

But he will want more, ashtrays aren't enough now.

Ashtrays inside of cars and trucks are to be used for just one thing - Storage of extra cash and change for the tolls of life.

Everyone has peculiarities and mine is lifting ashtrays from motor vehicles.
An ashtray is a luxury that should not be afforded to most car owners. The lose coin is the removal charge.

When you're car hopping , you don't have time to casually look around. You look for the change, grab it and dip.

Teaches you a lesson though.....Lock yer fuckin car.
