I called the non-emergency number to ask about it because I was a little nervous and they told me they were looking for suspects but not to be concerned! I would of been concerned if I knew two robbers were on the loose, I would of at least locked my doors! Wonder if they caught them?

Don't ruin it for the rest of us. As long as there are idiots who leave their houses and cars unlocked a lot of burglars will pick their house or car before bothering with the ones that are locked.

Neighbor, you are an idiot. By locking your doors, you are not a prisoner as you still have the ability to exit at any time by simply turning the door handle from the inside. In the event that you have an older door handle, you may have to unlock said door before turning the handle, but in no way are you a prisoner. Sell your home and move out of NOVA.
