Anyone recommend a good travel agent?

Can anyone recommend a good local travel agent? Someone with experience booking alternative shore excursions on cruises? Everyone I'm dealing with so far (AAA, Omni) seems to be a complete amateur adding no real value to the process beyond what I can do myself. But I want someone who will do the research and bookings for me.

Thanks.

Thank you for the recommendation. Is this someone you've worked with and can recommend?

Google has a million options. But I'm looking for an agent someone can recommend as really good.

Never worked with them for leisure, but have worked with their corporate travel services both as a hotel employee and as a customer.

They are the largest business travel services company. They have an office somewhere in Fairfax and another near Ballston and most likely someone there handles leisure travel.

Use Spanish travel agents. The latinos I've worked with keep them busy,so they have extensive experience getting people across borders.

I used to use ABC Travel in Tysons to travel mostly to Asia - but that was years and years ago - don't know if they still exist.

In any case, I'm sure Yelp or maybe even Angie's List would have plenty of suggestions for agents.

[these days I would imagine travel agents are almost a dying breed given the fantastic Internet resource]

Why use Yelp when one can come here and ask those who only leave the house to cash the welfare checks?

You'd be surprised what kind of great vacation deals are included with Obama's welfare programs.

I travel to Europe once a month, all paid for by my extravagant welfare check.

It's a great investment for the liberals, because I get to learn about marxist socialism while I'm there.

I've had good luck with Costco. Not local, but if they service where you wish to travel, they know what they are doing.
