10 years: Everybody tries to show off how successful they all are

20 years: Very few of the hot chicks you went to HS with are still going to be hot. A handful at most but even that is wishful thinking.

30 years and on: Nobody gives a shit about success or looks anymore. Everybody is just happy everyone is still alive.

I didn't go. Everyone I care to keep in touch with from HS I still talk to from time to time. Why would I go drive several hours to hang out with people I wouldn't normally hang out with anyway? So I can brag that I probably make more money than them? That I look the same as I did in HS and didn't turn into some fat slob? No thanks.

My old high school buddies and I have a contest at every reunion to
see who brought a date/spouse/girlfriend with the biggest ass. Nobody
outside of this circle knows about the contest and we have the judging
and awarding of prizes as soon as the reunion is over and we're in a
local bar/nightclub. One guy in particular won the prize for the 10th
and 20th but he lost the title at the 30th and I doubt if anyone will
ever beat the winner for that year.

Mine was terrible because it cost money to go, it sucked when I went because the people who I did want to see I already hung out with on a weekly basis and the people I could care less about were all there too. It was awesome to see some girls who were either nerdy or unpopular become straight banging hotties. With that said I would definitely make a game of it and place bets on who looks the best after high school if you don't already know it. Also try to get someone home with you, do not be an idiot and bring a date like I did. All of these people will be bringing their newly married spouses and showing them off and then you are gonna see that single girl in the corner who is jealous of it all. Prime target son, do it......do it!

Reunions are a little bit like weddings, as far as hookups go.

You may discover that there were a few girls who were interested in you in High School. The 20th is the best for this, because women approaching 40 have mostly given up all the typical bullshit hangups and can be pretty forward and direct.

So True.
At my 10 year reunion I signed a lease on a car I did not really need and could barely afford. I thought I would look cool at my reunion and elsewhere.
At the 30 year reunion I drove the used toyota that I bought from a young couple down the street that has a few dents and scratches on it. When you get older your priorities change and although I could now pay cash for several luxury cars if I wanted them I prefer the dented toyota.

Yes this is very true but they are approaching 40 and that my friend is not cool.

If you really want to turn heads well then show up at your reunion with a current freshman (from the high school you graduated from) as your date.

I kind of agree with you, for most women that age. But I also know of quite a few guys under 30 who really have a thing for women over 40. I don't get it, but to each his own.

maybe a recent graduate, but if you bring a freshman you will definitely learn which of your classmates have become cops.

Good time. It was fun and my husband went with me. Someone people aged. Everytime someone asked you how you doing they mean, how much your earning and where are you working. I am working at capital one bank in Tysons and I have 1 kid and 4 step kids so my life is fine. Not perfect but no one is living the perfect life.

You wont be doing fine when Stephanie gets out of jail and get her hand on a gun and robs your bank.

I had a blast at mine, and got to flirt with an old friend's wife, make out with a chick that liked me, and get hammered for free.
