Cub Run River

One of my pet peeves is construction projects that do not adequately prepare for stormwater runoff. Well, I just drove past the Route 50 bridge widening project at the Cub Run River. At 1:50pm the paltry silt fence was already completely blown out. Years of environmental studies and engineering on the bridge project and one big storm will no doubt put a couple acres of silt and sediment into the water. Nice.
