Malak's Pizza in Springfield

What's the word on this place? It seems they've been around since the Carter administration so, I'm assuming it's edible but, is it just a late night place that feeds drunks or do they serve good pie and subs?

Drunks? I dunno if you know this but Springfield is about as dead of a town as any in the world. The bars there are jokes, sad pathetic jokes. Unless you are talking about the whino drinking box wine out in front of Big K, I doubt this Robeks pizza gets much post college types.

Its not bad. Its yes, family run, got some decent pizza/subs, but you are gonna drop some $$ compared to other places.

Fail. After a night up on U Street, there's no place we'd rather yell at ugly waitresses at and start the detoxification of our livers at then Malek's. Jonathan has been putting up with our bullshit for years. And yes, they serve good food at high prices but, at that hour of the morning there are no better options in Springfield.

MALEK's we get take out pizza once a month. Much better than the chain store pizza. You will see county and state troopers there often. They always find the decent grub.

@OP - subs.............eh - take em or leave em. Better than what you are gonna find at Dominos or the Hut. The pies are better too but the BEST part about the place is that they have awesome pie toppings like BigBite as well - not just the standard crap you find at a lot of places.

Plus you cant beat the hours LoLz
