Herndon Police Report: 62 Campaign Signs Stolen
A Herndon resident reported 62 of their campaign signs had been stolen.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Oct. 15 through Oct. 21, 2012. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by a group of unknown subjects who fled the scene prior to police arrival at 11:22 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 4:55 a.m. on Oct. 16 in the 12900 block of Worldgate Drive.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance at 11:01 a.m. on Oct. 17 in the 300 block of Linden Court.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 16 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Crestview Drive.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 11:13 a.m. on Oct. 21 in the 900 block of Crestview Drive.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• A 21-year-old Sterling man was arrested for larceny at 10:42 a.m. on Oct. 21 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported six laptop computers were stolen from inside a business between 6 p.m. on Oct. 17 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 in the 100 block of Van Buren Street.
• A 26-year-old Reston man was arrested for larceny at 2:43 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported 62 of their campaign signs were stolen from various locations in Herndon between the day of Oct. 17 and 10:21 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 300 block of Van Buren Street.
• A 39-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of cocaine and driving while intoxicated at 2:06 a.m. on Oct. 21 in the 600 block of Elden Street.
• A 37-year-old Fairfax man was arrested for being drunk in public and trespassing at 8:43 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A 31-year-old Hyattsville, MD man was arrested for being drunk in public at 2:33 a.m. on Oct. 21 in the 200 block of Herndon Parkway.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted and robbed by two unknown subjects who fled the scene at 10 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 800 block of Monroe Street.
• A 31-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of cocaine and driving while intoxicated at 1:54 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 1000 block of Pembrook Street.
• A 32-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of cocaine and providing false identification to law enforcement at 11:03 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 700 block of Grant Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10:26 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 800 block of Locust Street.

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 5:32 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 34-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 2 a.m. on Oct. 15 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 30-year-old Sterling man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 10:53 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 800 block of Park Avenue.
• The Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Oct. 15-21: two incidents of reckless driving, three incidents of driving under the influence, 14 incidents of speeding, one incident of no operators license, one incident of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 13 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.

holy shit. 62 signs in his yard?? I suspect it was a neighbor more concerned with property values than with the choice of candidate. Though it obviously would be Romney signs for someone to be that unhinged about this election.

I'm sure the reports of 'stolen' camapaign signs will spike right after the hurricane passes through.

When the hurricane blows everyone's campaign signs away, the christian funda-mental-ists will assume God didn't like their candidate, and will change their vote to Obama instead of making the gods even angrier.
