Does Fairfax require clear bags for yard waste?

I looked for 55 gallon drum liners at Home Depot and all they have is the black in this size. Will Fairfax take leaves in black bags? Does anyone know where I can get the clear bags in the 55 gallon size?

I wonder if people bought up the clear trash liners after the plastic drop cloths sold out? I do want to tape up some plastic over my basement window wells just to be safe, maybe that's what a lot of people are doing.

No bags. Just leave piles on the curbside and either the hurricane will take care of them, or the city's vaccuum truck will get what's left on Nov. 1.

I saw a notice that they don't want you putting your leaves to the curb before this big storm as it will clog the drains.

No, only for human waste. Ladies, remember to wipe front to back!

Yes, I believe leaf bags must be clear or paper.

I used Home Depot 55 gal drum liners for years until all of a sudden they were much thinner and ripped if you looked at them wrong. I guess the Depot figured we wouldn't notice that the cheapened bags were now worthless.

I started using the BJ's Wholesale store brand drum liners. They are very strong like HD's used to be. You gotta be a BJ's member though.

The pamphlet the county sends me every year states "clear" bags but I have NEVER used them and they have always picked them up

Talk to your trash company. With AAA, you can use clear bags or dark bags marked with an X. I'm sure the others are the same.
