Fairax county supposedly got this new helicopter that is suppose to be More "quiet" instead they got nothing better to do then to just fly in circles around the Pen Daw area and just rattle your home as they circle around rather then patroling Rt.1 from huntington to Lorton I mean the helipcopter circling around the area like always is nothing new but this new helicopter should get a ticket for disturbing the peace even as this thing flys around it still sounds loud if you close your window FREAKING LOUD BUZZ!! and top of that there maybe not even fighting crime or chasing some one on RT.1!

Annoying helicopters are why Al Gore invented the laser pointer. Let the pilot know he's disturbing you by pointing your laser in his eyes.

I've been using an antenna to get my local TV for a few years now, but in the last week, any time a helicopter goes by my signal gets all screwy. Especially on Channel 4.

I first noticed this when the fairfax police helicopter decided to go into orbit a mile or so east of my home for over an hour. It was really annoying.

I know the move to "all digital signals" was partly to give more frequencies to law enforcement and the military. So why did they choose to install equipment that interferes with these "new" frequencies? What is the purpose?

Should I get a tinfoil hat for my TV?

If this is at night, then notice they NEVER have the searchlight on. That means they have no purpose and should be jailed for harrasement.

It's worth it to whom? Cause someone breaking into my house is likely to get shot from no less then 3 directions simultaneously. So if you mean it's "worth it" then you must be talking about the potential burglar because he won't end up being dropped very quickly and with deliberate intent.

Actually in the last 6 months have noticed very little helicopter activity in the skies of my neighborhood. Use to have it all the time. think someone at county told cops to quit wasting all that fuel

Just wait until these jerks get drones, then they'll be able to continue wasting our tax dollars flying something quieter.
