Sorry I am posting this to everyone, but the Lorton specific forum did not look too lively.
I have been hearing a very annoying low pitch humming in the Mason Neck area. It cycles like it might be a generator, but a very large generator. This sound can be heard throughout my house. Last week it started around 0430, however, now it is almost constant. The sound is definitely outside and I can hear it from various spots on Mason Neck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am starting to go crazy with the noise.

You should get out of your house now. Get as far from your house as possible, as quickly as possible.
Do not return until you can no longer hear the sound from inside your house.
I'm also hearing it since like 1030 pm or so it's keeps on going on loud and loud then it stops for like 30 sec and it starts back up .. I wounde is there is any road construction or anything around ??

They're fueling up the electrical batteries on the predator drones that are gonna fire Hellfire missiles through your roof. Only those few who have been targeted can hear the noise. Mention it to "normals" and they will think you are crazy. Which is part of their plan. Marginalize the targets. Aren't they clever?

It depends on the Hertz range of the single/noise. If it's 60 Hz, your refrigerator is fried, replace it. If is in some other range, it's the end of the world as we know it.

I think I know the noise you're talking about, but I think it is gone now. It sounded like construction noise of some sort, but I didn't see any construction being done on the peninsula besides the new road they were putting in on Gunston Road. Could that have been it?

Probably machinery noise from the sewage treatment plant across the street from Gunston plaza. You literally live by the asshole of Fairfax county. I think Lorton should be called Taintville. That's why they put a dump and a DC prison there. Not to mention section 8 housing. It's quite "fragrant" down there during the summer.
I think its comical that they built luxury townhomes right next to Hagel Circle and people actually bought them. Gee, I wonder why my home/car is always getting broken into? Hahahahhahaahahahahaha
