New McLean Principal-FCPS strikes again

Was just made aware that the new principal- Ms. Reilly was moved from Oakton to Herndon 2 years ago for sleeping with one of her employees. She was warned by HR and Supert. and now 2 years later is principal at McLean? How does this happen?

They seem to be moving out a lot of Asst. Principals from Oakton to other schools. Wasn't Mentzer moved out last year?

No problem with consenting adults, but have you ever heard of sexual harrassment? If this is the best that FCPS has to offer we are in trouble? Plus everyone wanted Zook as principal anyway.

Her poor child will not be able to get into an Ivy League school, and thus its whole life will be ruined, all because of some external cause. This time, because the principle was having sex with another school employee.

Typical, though. When things are going great, "we built that!", but when shit doesn't work out, the government screwed it all up.

It was well know in community by kids/parents/staff that Reilly was having an affair with Tor Strom. Kids from newspaper took picture of them and sent it to Super and then she was moved to Herndon.

I guess that rule is reasonable.

It does make me wonder about her ability to use good judgement in other decisions that she must make.

I think I am very progressive but in what work setting can I boss sleep with an employee? If they work at other schools no problem. Does FCPS do any background on these people. It was well known in Oakton community that this was going on and Central Admin was aware. Do they not speak to other cluster people? Very embarrassing start for Ms. Reilly

Get over yourself. If teachers decided to tell you what to do in your personal life it would be another story. Its parents like you that make teaching a miserable thankless job.

I am not surprised that MH is haveing bullying, safe envrionment for the students and protecting football players on the expense of victims of bullying by football players. Maybe, he may be having with one of them that is why is is protecting them even though bullying is a crime in VA. However it is okay to bully someone because Principal Reilly okays it.

I am not surprised that MH is having a lot of bullying, safe envrionment problemss for the students who can go continue their studies at MH. Principal Reilly has been protecting football players on the expense of victims of bullying, being threatening by football players since she took over the job in September. Maybe, she is having an affairs with one of the football players and that is why she is protecting them even though bullying is a crime in VA. However it is okay to bully someone at McLean High school because Principal Reilly okays it.
