Its too bad I suspect it is the other way around. Students that openly support Obama are given extra credit.

I support Obama. So does Fidel Castro. Why don't you join us and create a workers paradise in the USA like we have here?

It's unlikely, however, that you would ever have that opportunity. If you did, you would have written "If I were a Mason teacher" and not "If I was", because you would know the difference between the subjunctive and the past tense. You would also know that college professors are referred to as "professor" or "instructor". Teachers are what you have in the 9th grade.

You would also know that your Dean would take an extremely dim view of you failing anyone for seeing "the socialist president speak". You would be forced to change or drop these grades.

And finally, you would know the actual definition of socialism, and could intelligently contrast it with other political systems; and that Obama is no socialist.

Someone in the economics department should make it an assignment. List all the free things obama has promised then figure out how to pay for them without borrowing or printing up more money. Blaming Bush is not an acceptable answer.

Actually, the George Mason Econ Department happens to be the home of several respected economists who don't live in a fantasy world. Take a look at some of the Mercatus Center reports, or the hilarious music videos on Youtube like "Fear the Boom and Bust", which is a Hayek vs. Keynes rap battle. It's epic.

Do you think they agree you cannot spend your way out of debt?
