I'm surprised they didn't let her serve as co-pilot...and the terrorists win again!

I cant imagine she drank the whole thing if it was full. The locals could have charged her with drinking in public. She must have been a real prize to sit next to at 730am and already hitting the bottle.

Who doesnt know you cannot bring something like that carryon unless this is her first time on a plane.

If I knew this was legal . . . my wait in the TSA line would be much more enjoyable.

What a frikin idiot.

Why do people rail against the TSA and their methods?

I don't want some shoe bomber on my plane.

If you can't figure out not to take liquids on a plane, or get to the airport soon enough to make it through a line, that is just nature's way of telling you that you are an idiot.

Just one more hurdle to separate those idiots from me, and keep them off my plane as I go to work or vacation somewhere, not befuddled by the fact that I can't bring liquid with me.

Good job TSA.

Great, go ahead and burn your liver out...that'll show 'em.

Even Kip Hawley admits the current watch list of screened items is dated and usless. Every time I go through they are patting down some 85 year old in a wheel chair. I hope they strip search your daughter and your wife next time you travel - so much safer for the rest of us.

I took 2 bottles of Grey Goose through TSA a few months ago. They were the oversized "airplane" bottles though. They just got upset that I didnt tell them first, but let me go through anyway. While I was onboard, I asked for a cup of ice and a cup of water, made it through the first bottle and the stewardess saw me about to open the second and told me those weren't allowed, so I traded my grey goose for 2 of their Finlandias. Strange.

Taking a plane is not much better than a Greyhound bus except on a bus you dont get searched. The planes are filthy, the passengers are fat, smelly and demanding. I find the train is much better as long as you are going to somewhere on the east coast. If I do have to fly I just pay extra for a non stop, it beats the constant delays on connecting flights.

"You're", not your.

So, what's your point? Start letting people through and on to planes with large bottles of fluids, some of which may be flammable, others large enough to be used as weapons?

How soon people freakin forget.

Nope. As a matter of fact, I would think many republicans are against things like the TSA as a "money waster".

I just don't see how hard it is for someone to figure out they can't bring a bottle of flammable liquid on a plane, and, I like to be safe when I fly. Or, when I sit in tall office buildings.
