Family and friends will gather at Thaiss Park Monday morning to search the wooded area near the parking lot where missing student Bryan Glenn's vehicle was found.
The search event will start at 10:30 a.m. at Thaiss Park at 3417 Pickett Road.
Volunteers should wear waterproof boots, long pants, clothing with vibrant colors and bug spray, according to the Facebook event page. Click here to RSVP.
Those whose names start with A-M should bring dry goods to pass out as hiking snacks. The N-Zs should bring water to share with the search party.
Woodson senior Bryan Glenn was last seen dropping his younger brother Marty off at Woodson High School at around 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 1. An hour later, he was spotted at the Dunkin Donuts on Fairfax Boulevard. Glenn didn't go to classes or attend football practice. Police found the car Bryan was driving abandoned at Thaiss Park at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
But most importantly, call police if you have any information about Bryan's disappearance. Call Crime Solvers 1-866-411-TIPS/8477, e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES/274637. You can also call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
