First you need to call the police non-emergency number and have an officer come out and take an accident report. Just lie and tell the cop somebody hit your car and drove off too fast for you to get a license plate number. Once the cop fills out the accident report form and gives it to you, then you can call your insurance company and tell them you were the victim of a hit-and-run driver.

Calling the police to report a made-up hit and run is a crime.

Calling your insurance company and lying about a hit and run is also a crime.

Call and tell them the truth, or pay to fix it yourself.

Filing a False Police Report followed by Insurance Fraud. You'll be back on here in six weeks asking who knows a good lawyer, you dunce.

You can't spell and you can't drive. Your first instinct in time of trouble is to do something dishonest and illegal. You have a weird, foreign name, and taking all that into consideration I can just guess you have other horrible primitive habits.
Can't you just leave the United States and go back to whatever God forsaken third world shithole you emerged from?

Let him go ahead...

A good adjuster can differentiate between metal on metal contact and a car that has hit a flat brick wall.

They probably won't file charges, but they'll drop his policy like 3rd period French.

Go ahead and try it, the cops will figure it out in no time you are lying. Reporting it to the police is a class one misdemeanor and to the insurance company is a felony. You going to roll the dice rather than buy a new bumper for your 91 toyota?

No no no, don't listen to any of these dicks. They're not leading you in the right direction. The right direction is forward, in your car, straight into that brick wall again at about 120mph. That should fix the problem.

You dipshit you breaking the law and are posting it here. We are not stupid we can tell wall damage from another car. Go ahead and try it and it will come out as fraud. You insurance company will deny your claim and drop you. If your lucky they will not press charges.

For all of you that posted things like this is a crime, he is breaking the law, he's committing insurance fraud, nice job on tipping him off before he actually did all of those things.

If you big mouths hadn't felt obliged to add your comments, the guy would have at the least a filing a false police report charge against him by now, and maybe a conspiracy to commit insurance fraud charge, to boot. He might even be in jail, where he fucking belongs. Great job!

I'm well aware that cops are trained in things like accident investigation and would have been able to tell that he hit a wall and not that another car had hit him, which is why I told him to call the cops and lie in the first place.

If some idiot criminal wants to dig a hole for himself, I'm more than happy to hand him a shovel.

Why not just call your insurance company and tell them exactly what happened?

Whether it was your fault or another person's fault, they'll pay to fix it, minus any deductible.
