(that could be mc'lean but i'm leery of how good the b&w photo is and why there isn't a single tire mark on the ? loose stone driveway ?)

but moreso - i'm seeing a pattern of attacks on whites followed by "cheesy CRT writeups claiming the person was a rich bastard and deserved it"

more and more one shouldn't assume these "bad things" followed by racist articles by the democrat media ARE NOT MISTAKES. the DC 4 certainly was not a mistake.

that's not in mc'lean, another fake post. that's an extremely large employee complex - i don't think it's in mc'lean (ie not something you can see from most roads within borders of mc'lean). that building rivals size of any new 2021 building in tyson's btw. it immense.

it could be the military complex for a fairly large nation - for it's size

Fair Oaks Dodge? Looks more like Fair Oaks Ford. I an guessing mid to late 80s? I dont remember a Fair Oaks Ford.

Guess that Ford Dealership fell on hard times. Here is a 2019 photo of the property as it was up for sale.

THAT'S A DIRTY OBAMA REGIME LIE

Dealer's around the US were "merely sent letters" (by head office) they should close.

OBAMA: AMERICAN WAS ANGRY ABOUT IT - ABOUT THE BETRAYALS AND OUTSOURCING AND RESULT - AND STILL ARE ANGRY. AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVED AREN'T DEAD THEIR HOMES ARE STILL STANDING.

OBAMA THE CLOSED DODGE DEALERSHIP IS NOT PAST HISTORY.

Infact - I worked with someone from a shut down USA dealership. He ended up dead. That one can't be saved. Many asians dealerships popped up in the same place.

But others - are still alive and ANGRY - and are saying "Fuck Joe Biden".

i've checked what google says is mc'lean area. NOTHING THERE not even hidden in the trees. just as i thought.

it could only have been a military building on 123 (the road toward DC) but doesn't appear to be on 123 either. or perhaps near the river - it doesn't appear riverside or hidden riverside either.

infact - mc'lean is 99% homes 1% Mitre corp built in 1990's - i know a russian who worked there !

I believe I used to drive by that place on certain college days / commuting. I said nice home nice land - i'd hope to buy a place like that somedayu. A friend of mine in the car told me, stodgily, he knew who lived there - it wasn't for sale.

I of course "recognize" allot of fairfax which I don't like giving note of - since most of it has been taken over by hostile democrats hispanics asians and ... I know allot of things they don't want people to generally know. ie, IP BAN me if they could even here on FFU. stalk me even. I'm sure the photo's guy, OP, knows more than I. goodness I hope he gives me free lessons! well...

Ohhh thanks for the pics, love them too!But don't you think that a little bit of editing is needed here? Idk man, the quality of the photos could really use some update, lol. The most standard editing "package" would be edit the pic to 720p, add in some filter, remove background , touch up the background a bit to make it look more clear. Or at least what I heard from my brother who's a photographer. Yeah, he's a photographer but he edits pics too so I supposed he knew what he was talking about, lol

Remember Christmas shopping at Landmark back in the day? It was often difficult to find a parking spot.

That Landmark pic was before they put the flyway over pass in that took you over rt 236 into the parking area of Landmark , you had to be in the far left lane to get onto it heading right off Shirly Highway toward the east still do. They changed the road some about 30 years ago.

Many the day I spent at Landmark as a happy shopper buying Craftsman tools or looking at sporting goods at Sears getting candy or nuts from that kiosk in the middle of the entry floor which was Grand Central Station years back , and eating at S&W Cafeteria fríed whiting salad with 1000 island or broiled hamburger steak

Later on they added that racy lacy ladies bloomers place down below . Today it's a ghost town it went straight to hell when they added the parking garage , it goes down in history with another L center in Maryland that went down the drain Landover it too had a cafe ! A Marriott and a Wolworths , too many slip and falls in the parking lots too many shoplifters too many thugs robbin people just TOO MANY DEMOCRATS ACTING UP !

Arrest Warrant out for Stalker but he’s still free (Virginia)

I have a stalker since late 2018. I know his name, address, DOB, right down to his SSN (he posted it himself publicly online). I have a PPO that expires 04/xx/2023 that he’s violated numerous times. In September I swore out the first warrant for his arrest through the county in which he resides.

He is actively dodging police and has gone as far as parking in the grocery store parking lot behind his home and sneaking in and out of his house.

The police have tried to serve him and arrest him on numerous occasions but he never answers.

What can I legally do to help law enforcement get this creep? (I’m not sure if this is against the rules, so if it is please feel free to delete).

Edit: Please beware, the person in question is commenting below. Please ignore him.

Edit2: Someone confused me for my own stalker somehow and messaged me asking for “my” (his) side of the story. So, I’ll spell it out here, as I did for him:

To get a PPO you have to go to court and prove that your safety and well-being are at risk.

To swear out a warrant for a violation of the PPO you have to go before a magistrate and prove the PPO was violated.

I don’t know what to tell you if you think it’s normal for a stranger to harass you to the point of needing a PPO against them and then for them to perpetually violate it…

How would he have known about this post if he wasn’t monitoring my socials? Food for thought.

When my kids were in elementary school we would pick them up Monday when they closed early and head over to Landmark to do the picture with Santa thing. Do parents even do that anymore? Lines at Sprngfield and Tysons were too long.

They had good roast beef sandwhiches, similar to Arbies. There was one on RT 1 in the MV area. It became a Taco Bell in 1994 ish.

It was located where the later Loehman's Plaza shopping center is located. I don't remember when it was open but do remember before they built the shopping center. https://www.wellsandassociates.com/blog/transportation-history-a-former-northern-virginia-airfield-is-going-mixed-use/

I've torn an concrete / oak beam structure down by hand ...

Old untreated oak 4x4 get very rancid and smelly if they are exposed to even a small draft with moisture (or set onto any concrete or cinder outdoor wall). They harbor the worst kind of mold/bacteria - perhaps make occupants sick. Oak beams that are always dry - do "ok". I wood not use them ever in building after my teardown - probably what caused the black plague in England.

i assume it's part of Fx. Co's land management photos they have such an office and a facility to protect them.

i would guess the collection isn't private. i have no idea but many are photos of great building and change. that interests me, why wouldn't it ? :)

More likely the problem isn't the oak but rather substances that landed on the oak and just were never cleaned off. And please tell me you are joking about the black plague comment.

The building to the left of the movie theater, was the C&P Telephone building. The GM Training Center was further down, past the Sunoco Station at University Drive. Also, I saw the movie Eat My Dust, starring Ron Howard there in 1977, when it came out. I remember they didn't play movies very frequently and it was pretty rundown by then. One of the little shops in the front of the theater building, was Camper's Trohpies.

I worked at Fair Oaks Dodge as a car porter in high school in 1982. Those K-cars were K-rap lol. This dealer sold a ton of Dodge conversion vans. I remember them being around 28-33 thousand dollars back then. I had to wash my bosses car alot. He was a dick. He did have a mobile phone in his car, which was cool.

I tore down an untreated oak log cabin by myself and had no problems with recycling the tongue and groove floors and ceilings nor the logs, no nasty smell at all. The homeowner broke even on price with me doing it by hand vs equipment and I made out like a bandit on selling the recycled lumber that sells for a premium. Slight moisture doesn't affect the wood if there is air circulation around it, it dries back out but it might get discolored which usually acceptable if your going to stain it or run it through a planer. Even if it gets moldy you might want to check the depth of the mold with a drill bit, if you can plane off the mold then your good. You just want to wear a respirator because at the least the mold spores will give you a nasty cold and if your immune system is compromised you could have worse problems.

And the Black plague was caused by fleas that traveled on rats in the trash infested cities.

I cannot say for certain, but it looks like the word "Lowes" may be obscured by the Park Street sign and what I am guessing is a no parking sign.

There is a railroad crossing sign behind the hardware store.

At the very left edge of the photo, I think I'm seeing the end of the store's name, which looks like it ends in "Supply Co."

What looks like it might say Lowes probably says Lumber (then Millwork Paint). Under it, it says Hardware Roofing Cement

That said, that building did eventually become Lowes at some point.

On further research, it looks like this was the Vienna Building Supply Co. It was still there as of 1966, but I remember this as a Lowes by the early 70s.

good story. sometimes it pays to have immediate consequences rather than prolonged legal crap. good cops.

true story

i was 12 maybe 13 and i had gotten into some trouble so my dad and i were out for supper and a "talk". my dad claimed he had a bit to much to drink so he asked me to drive home. it took about 5 minutes for us to get pulled over. my dad got out of the car and spoke with the cop. i do not know what he said to him. but a few minutes later dad came back told me to push over and drove us home.

The building goes back Jack to about 1970 .Then after Jack had to close up due to expansion of the San Diego Ca based chain into areas where they did not do well they had to close all their shops here even thought they were on fire doing a great business due to some business deal

But Taco Bell at least brought their tacos to Nova , that said they were decent and still are but those greasy JIB tacos were the tops

In Merrifield across Rt 29 Lee Highway kitty corner to the old Johnston auto body place where Arbys is now that gave the Fairfax BOS hair pulling cause they just could not live and let live with the funky decorated auto body shop

Then after tearing the Taco Bell down and the bank that was one a national Bank of Fairfax and the lot up Gallows where Capital Camper was to do a huge redo of the Rt 29 and Gallows intersection , that was now over 12 years ago they and they stopped and it's still a ugly mess on that corner no business taxes coming now for over a decade from that Taco Bell and bank . Such a smooth move Fairfax Co and VDOT

Before it was T.T. Reynolds it was the Wayne Feed Store. The store was decorated with the Purina Checker Board pattern, and there was a loading dock in the alley.

The big wind up key joke on a VW engine compartment started at Annandale HS in 1957 when Jim Robinson went there as a freshman at age around 14

Jim Robinson, who is he ?

He was Sgt/ James W Robinson who gave his life for his country in 1966 in Vietnam and became the first Virginia to earn the Medal of honor in the Vietnam War

Ever heard of James W Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax by George Mason U

It's named for him

Making sure and looking for sources, but this is NOT the Robinson SS namesake.

The RSS FCPS official site makes no mention of the namesake being a “local.”

Sgt James W Robinson U.S.A who recieved the Medal of Honor posthumously for his heroism at risk of his life in the face of the enemy above and beyond the call of duty in Vietnam , is the freshman Jim Robinson in that Annandale HS yearbook picture linked in the above post.

Robinson did not graduate from Annandale , he attended it. Then his family moved away from Virginia. His Medal Of Honor was presented to his parents at a ceremony in another state by a DOD offical , not by President Johnson which would have been at the White House.

His Medal of Honor is on display in the lobby of the school which bears his name. , unles it has be placed in a more secure area in the school , in any event it has been there since Robimson secondary opened in the early 1970s .From memory I will say it was Sept 1971.

As far as the Johhny joke , there are far better people to slur with insults then Americas Medal of Honor recipients who risked or more often gave their lives to save others in heavy combat or other combat circumstances, have some respect for their valor and their sacrifice of their lives .

Is what the FCPS Robinson HS site states about SGT Robinson .

That's because he attended Annandale HS and was the first Virgona resident when he received the MOH after his death. he graduated from a high school in the mid west , I believe in ILL where he was born as that was where his parents were from and where they moved back to.

when he was killed in combat the year was 1966 by the time his parents were presented his MOH there were not that many MOH awards that had been made as it takes a year for the MOH to usually be awarded due to the in dept investigation of the facts of the actions of the recipient, so even in 1967 when the war really got hot and deadly it would be 1968 in most cases before a award of the MOH could be presented.

Once again Sgt James W Robinson USA was the first Virginian killed in Vietnam, he went to Annandale HS but graduated from a school in another state , the fact he lived in Virginia is why he has been called a Virginian and because he was and still is the only person ever to go to a FCPS to earn the Medal Of Honor the honor fits. The late Col Westly Fox USMC who earned the MOH in Vietnam and lived to receive it serving 42 years in the Marines in ranks from private to full Col. before retiring to become the head of NROTC programs at VA TECH in Blackburg was born in Herndon where many other Fox family members are from . However he did not go to FCPS as his family moved to Front Royal where he grew up . These two MOH recipients are the only people identified from Fairfax County who lived here before earning the MOH. There have been numerous MOH recipients living in Fairfax Co but again only two lived here before they were awarded the Medal Of Honor .

The picture in the yearbook is of a "Jim Robertson", a freshman in the class of 1957. Medal of Honor winner James W Robinson would have been two years older than that. Annandale does not claim James Robinson as as alumnus even though they claim other students who did not graduate from there. In naming a school for him FCPS does not claim he was a student in Fairfax County Schools. His official bio has his only contact with Fairfax County being that he lived in Annandale from the time after he was discharged from the USMC until the time he enlisted in the U.S. Army. My American Legion contact says the same thing. His bio says he was from Illinois and that he graduated from high school there. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the future Sgt James W Robinson briefly attended a Fairfax County school. The ball is in your court to prove it though.

Also the normal designation I have seen for Medal of Honor winner Sgt. Robinson is Sgt James W Robinson USARV.

That's because they re-numbered the roads.

Little River Turnpike used to be numbered Route 50. So you're on Route 50 (LRT) in Annndale, and when you get to the (Kamp Washington) intersection, LRT continues straight throuh. Today, we still call the road on the west side of the intersection "Route 50". It goes out to Aldie, VA, and crosses the Little River (that's a creek that people used to ship goods on) out there in the sticks.

But the eastern part of LRT (from Alexandria, through Annandale, and Fairax) up to the intersection has been renumbered in modern times from "50" to "236".

Correspondingly, the eastern part of what we now call "Route 50" (aka Main Street, Fairfax Blvd, Arlington Blvd) used to be "Route 236".

The two roads swapped numbers in 1933.

I didn't know until recently that Rte 50 (the one we know today) between Fairfax Circle and Seven Corners wasn't even there in the 1930s. Not sure when they added that section, but it looks like sometime in the 1940s.
