That would be a plausible avenue, if the dealership does their own financing. If not, then the beef would need to be (mis)directed to the bank or repoman (even though it's the buyer's own fault!).

I just think it is odd a guy is shot in his driveway in a suburb like that. Typically these types of crimes are caused by someone who knows the victim. I think all of these people worried about bashing you should help the police figure out who did it instead of worrying about what you write here.

I did not get the pleasure of getting to know Fred Personally, but my cousins did. He had his whole entire life ahead of him. He was getting married, he finished school, had a job, played sports, was in shape, nice, and so talented in whatever he did. He has inspired me to live life to the fullest, because no one ever knows when you're life will end- exept for god. And god is the only one who can judge where people go. God judges if people go to heaven or hell. And Btw; if someone is murdered, they automatically are granted to the gates to heaven. I am so sorry to all the people that were so close to Fred. May god give you something that will bring joy in your lives; to make the sorrowness go away. I pray for Fred, hoping that he will be fine. Instead of writing good or bad stuff which doesn't get you anywhere, quit writing here and go look around and get information about the killer. Obviously those coming in here writing good or bad cared about him so it doesn't matter. It is always within afghans, "more talk, no actions", so lets reverse it. "less talk ,more actions". From what I know:

Fred had money.
He was the boss at the dealership and made decisions with customers.
He was clubbing and had beautiful gf.
Don't know if involved in gangs, drugs, etc.
His brother in law was locked up because I heard he testified on a drug dealer.
His brother was locked-up on immigration fraud.
His other brother divorced a wife, own a restuarant and manage food, etc.

Questions:
Was Fred killed because of some friends being jeolous of him?
Was he killed because of brother in law testified in court?
Was he killed because of brother with INS fraud?
Was he killed because of some dealership customers being upset?

I hate to bring up an issue that should rest. Let him rest in peace!!

He was a loan officer for the dealership in a pretty bad area. He promised some home boy he would get him a loan for the car. After the loan could not get approved , he could or would not give back the $2k or so deposit that was non refundable back to home boy. So home boy got pissed.

end of story, the dealership scam messed with the wrong people. Too bad he was the one they took it out on.

actually, if it's a scam like you say it is, fred was a collaborator which are considered to be worse than your enemy.
