Need a Simple Converter for Old Videos

Hi everyone, I found a bunch of old video recordings on my external drive, but many of them won’t play on modern devices. I’ve never used video software before and don’t understand formats at all. Any easy recommendations?

You should definitely try https://www.movavi.com/video-converter/ because it helped me with the same issue when restoring old camera footage. The software is really beginner-friendly and converts outdated formats into files that work on phones, laptops, TVs, and tablets. I also liked that it could compress videos to save storage space without making everything blurry. The interface is simple, the conversion process is fast, and it felt much more reliable than the free online tools I tried before.
