Kmart Wendy’s and former Antique store...good cheap real estate! This area is ripe for a town center with good parking. Let’s get a Wegmans for a Whole Foods in here....Tons of potential. Clean up the litter - beautify the dumpy strip malls... get some attractive parking options and improve walkability and traffic flow through this area...would be a huge win for all

Do you rally think all of the illegals and low-income immigrants in Annandale would support a Wegman's or Whole Foods? You've got to drain the swamp first before high-end businesses come here.

Annandale is infested with chinks and gooks.

Annandale had a Whole Foods. They acquired it when they took over Fresh Fields. The problem was that the store footprint wasn't big enough and Blockbuster was limiting expansion plans.

That place is slow to developing. There is going to be a negative chain reaction because I think that area has build up to be a minority market place. It will take a lot for things to turn over. I think one of the reasons for the change originally was the original Annandale habitants either passed away or moved and their children never kept up the businesses. It is a bit disappointing when I visit that area to see all the original architecture gone. I used to visit that military surplus store a lot. It had some great finds there.
