Basillini Italian Cafe

First time I had even a quick chance to get into Basillini since it opened in the old Jerry's location just up from Jammin' Java. I'll have to wait until a future visit to try the salads, pizza, and entrees, but if the take-out eggplant parmesan sub was any indication, those will be something to look forward to. The people (all locals) were very nice, and everything was $12 or less. Looks like yet another plus for Vienna here!

The place blows monkey balls. I've had better Italian from my grocer's freezer.

Appeared to be gone at the beginning of August, or at least never open for lunch. But Ledo's has occupied the old Johnny's space nearby.

It must be pretty bad Italian Food if Ledo's puts you out of business.

Looks like they rebranded themselves- new food. Perhaps the food is closer to their heritage this time.
