Has anyone be following the Vienna Town Council race this year 6 candidates for 3 postions. Looks like it will be a free for all.

Two interesting questions to post to candidates at the upcoming NEVCA Candidate forum this Tuesday night hosted by NEVCA at Vienna Community Center.

1. What candidate has never paid any Fairfax County of Town of Vienna property taxes?

2. What candiate has built over 27 houses in Vienna and actively discouraged the construction of sidewalks in front of these new houses and did not want to plant new shade trees even though trees in the properties were cut down,

Hopefully most voters can drill down and figure out fact fom from fiction.

I'll vote for Denice...get rid of those shabby homes built in the 50's and 60's and put up more nice million-dollar-plus homes...

Shade trees are for shady neighborhoods, where low-class people work on their cars and mow their own lawns..

So the guy is a renter. Big deal. I refuse to believe his landlord doesn't charge rent much more than sufficient to cover the tax bill.

That said, his touting being President of Duke Student Government lost my vote for two simple reasons: 1) Duke, and 2) citing student government on a freaking real-world campaign flyer.

The big and pleasant news is the builder/developer who is regarded as a bully ran dead last getting less than 20% of total vote and getting badly defeated!

Is he the same one that's been hiring illegals then murdering them at the end of the job to avoid paying them? Has FCPD gotten tips about the locations where the bodies were dumped?
