Any guesses on how much slammer time Scotty gets today?

Fairfax is a small town, and we care about our own. If you are looking for schadenfreud, I suggest you go somewhere else.

I went to high school with Scott, and I care what happens to him. I remember him as a kind, polite young man with enormous promise, and we all hope that he will receive the help he needs *above all*, and just enough consequences to keep him serious about his sobriety.

I was hoping the judge would make an example of him but obviously not. Someone of his office should have known better and he's certainly not an example for our children but I doubt we'll be seeing him in Fairfax City again.

Look at his friend’s comment above. She/he is talking about him maintaining his sobriety. What about his meth/sex addiction? That’s not so clean, is it Mrs. neighbor?

He was sentenced to 90 days (which was the time he served from his last court date) and three years of probation. He walked out of the hearing a free man.

This sentence was absolutely ridiculous considering the severity of the charges and his position in the community. There is a double standard in the Fairfax County criminal court system that allows people like Scott to basically go free which throwing a multi-year book at disadvantaged minority offenders. Flame me if you like, but I've seen this double standard up close and personal and no matter how much you yell, it is there and this sentence confirms what we all fear... he will not get better. He has skated the system.

pleaded guilty in Fairfax County Circuit Court March 13 to one felony count of distributing methamphetamine.

Does this mean he is a felon?

Can felons run for public office in the Commonwealth of Virginia?

I have seen people get more time than that for a misdemeanor let alone a damn felony - This is an absolute Joke - He attempted to trade hardcore drugs for sex.

He cant vote, not sure if he could actually run for office - who in their right mind would vote for this man again has their own serious problems.

It's not like he stole money from the City. Give it a rest. It's all a matter of who is the greater threat to society. The 2 little pricks who ratted him out need to do serious jail time. They are the ones selling meth to your kids.
