Yes, there was on Monday, October 17, 2016 a note on the locked front door announcing that the restaurant is closed.

I blame the handicapped parking spots that give the perpetual appearance that there are no customers. If Fairfax City wants a successful business there, they're going to have to grant an exception, and make the disabled ride their wheelchairs a whole 50 feet to the front door.

Would they be in compliance with the ADA if they did so? I'm not sure.

I haven't been able to find an article as to why they closed.

The place was weird. Carlos o'Kelly's was the best. It was there for years. Chops food was expensive and it wasn't the best. All the TV's in the sitdown dining area was weird. In the bar area, i get it, but not the dining area.

I worked there for about 3 weeks. It was a complete disaster. I spent an entire week organizing the downstairs where everything was in cardboard boxes scattered around he floor. The food was expired. They had an ant infestation. They didn't have a business license posted. The owner cheated me out of what I was owed and paid with a personal check. It was a complete joke. Good riddance.
