December 1st... cops, fire trucks, and ambulances

anyone know what was going on in the city last night at like 11:20 or so? I was leaving Safeway and saw 4-5 cop cars along with at lease 4 fire trucks and a few ambulances blocking off a couple roads. did not see anything, they were just all parked on the roads.
