I am looking for any INFORMATION that anyone can give me on the Beating of my SON by a Fairfax County Police Office (name Withheld) April 7th, 2007 On Route 50 and Annandale Road at approx 1AM.
I am in Need of more Information and More Witnesses.
Several People have come forward and the more the Better.
There is No reason for FAIRFAX County to continue to get away with beating, Harrasing, Lying, and Stealing From the Citizens of this County.

It is now Time to Put our Foot DOWN and Protest against Fairfax County POLICE.
No Matter what Happens to Citizens they Stick together like GLUE and seem to always be in the Right.

Keep letting Fairfax County Police get away with it? Fairfax County is not known to have police officers that beat its citizens. It is one of the top police departments in the country and if something like that were actually going on it would be stopped. I guarantee you that your son probably got into some fight. Got beat up and didn't want to tell on the kids who did it. So he fabricated some kind of lie to get your attention quickly.

I generally hate the police, but the FFX PD is the most physically non-confrontational group of police I have ever encountered.

Go to PG county and get pulled over late at night for ANYTHING, and you will see what I mean (questionable search of the vehicle and possible "cuffing for your safety" over a broken taillight). The same incident in FFX will result in the officer giving you at most a ticket and a goodnight. Even Loudoun county sheriffs are more confrontational.

I agree with Reston, Fairfax police are rather professional compared to other counties.

Yeah, professional, unless you are an innocent optometrist that just happens to get shot through the heart by FCPD, uh accidentally or an innocent kid in a passenger seat of a vehicle full of teenagers that skipped out on an IHOP check that just happened to get shot and killed by off duty FCPD. but you don't hear much about that stuff because it gets swept under the carpet but if one or two of theirs get s shot or killed then whoa, stop the world.

Ok...yes the optometrist was totally and freak accident.
Didn't the one at IHOP try and run the cop down in their vehicle? And yes I know the cop probably could have just jumped out of the way. But I can only assume he was doing what he was trained to do when he felt is life threatened. If those kids were so bold to run down a cop what would they do to Joe Citizen walking across the parking lot. If they were such fine up-standing citizens and good kids, why didn't they just pay the friggin bill?

Its not just about FFX cops, its about all cops. There have been too many incidents in all police forces where cops misuse their power and its time we stop putting guns in the hands of the kinds of people that SIGN UP to become COPS.

No way, all you people who are backing up ffx county police prolly have never had a real run in with them and been discriminated against by them. Non confrontational? i think its the exact opposite, ive had run ins with fcpd and they are assholes. If they pull you over and see that you're a teenager, no matter how u look or how polite u are, they will give you a hard time. Several times, I've had ffx county police pull me and my friends over and search the car for weapons or drugs and they dont find shit. not only that but everytime they didnt find anything, they wouldnt admit that they were in the wrong, theyd just tell us that we're getting lucky because we had good hiding spots or other smartass shit like that.

I completely agree. Being 17 years old myself and completely turned away by the often bad persona of a skateboarder, we are instantly stereotyped based on our age and treated with no respect. Just recently, I was skateboarding in the back parking lot of a local store with my friend and a cop confronted us and treated us like scum, no matter how intelligent you make yourself sound or how much respect you give. Classic.

being from PG county now a FFX county resident i can tell you the FFX police are some of the easiest to deal with. my question to you is why are you defending your son?? i assume he is an adult (over 18) and should be able to defend himself ??? if not and hes younger than 18 then why in the hell is he out at 1am ??? great parenting going on here...NOT!!! your son was most likely acting like an idiot. i seriously dont think he would be beat for no reason at all. even if he was just a smart mouth to to officer he was in the wrong. do a better job parenting teach your kids to respect the police and everyone else. im sure if he did nothing wrong he would not have been treated bad in anyway. hopefully your son will learn from this and keep on the straight and narrow and follow the law..

I wish everyone would believe that a police officer, (Just another person with a job) could make a mistake and abuse his power and harm a citizen. The more you scoff at each other about how he was a thug and is lying about it and is a bad kid, the less of a chance WE as a community have to be.... well a COMMUNITY!!! I wish everyone could see that if we just loved and did not mock, hate, and assume we could all live better lives. Who is anyone to say here how the kid acted that night, or if he lied, or if parenting is even an issue. (I had wonderful parents who loved me very much and I had a few run ins with the police.) It does not matter why he was there at 1 AM. This is America for Gods sake, we should be able to be where ever when ever, and not have people be called THUGS. I guess it comes down to.... if you can't or do not have an answer to the question at hand, why waste your time typing your thoughts. Yes I am ending this ironically.
