Has anyone else noticed that within Centreville, you can not buy beer and gas at the same location? I can't even count the number of times I've needed to fill up and wanted to grab a 12 pack and had to make 2 stops.

Has anyone else noticed this and does anyone have any clue why they'd do this?

I think it is a new law that was passed a few years ago.

I've been able to pick up beer at a few different gas stations in Centreville, and even in Fair Lakes. Hell, the Exxon on 29 by Pickwick Square (across from Payne's) sells gas and beer.

The 7-11 at Centreville Rd & Metrotech doesn't sell beer. I was amazed when we first moved back to the area from PA and went there to buy beer and they told me they didn't sell it.

I always figured that it has to do with the religious preference of the franchise owner.
