Are there any good underground venues in Nova? I moved here from Richmond and cant seem to find a local bar/venue that suits me

Try the Old Firestation #3, on 3988 University Dr. in old town Fairfax City. Local and touring bands almost every Friday and Saturday.

There's a house called the Cellar Door in Annandale that hosts metal/punk/experimental shows every couple of weeks, but you've really gotta get in with their crowd to get invited. If you happen to meet anyone from the bands Gradius, Ambition burning, walk the plank or life afterhours ask them about it.
