Just wondering if there is any interest here in helping deploy an experimental, community controlled Mesh Network in Fairfax (or anywhere in NoVa, really).

We will need Routers, CAT-5 or higher, omni-antennas, directional antennas, mass configuration parties, site mapping, and deployment. I know this sounds like a lot, but it really isn't that crazy. This is an experiment to test the capability of nascent "networkers" in an affluent area to conceive, configure, and deploy a working local Mesh. Proliferation and upkeep will be a future endeavour.
