K = FC² Explained
Date: May 30, 2015 09:45PM

Hello, FFXU.

Want to know the ever-lasting secret of the formula KFC uses on their chickens, K = FC²? Well, here it is, and we're revealing it.

First off, the final answer is denoted by the K, which is the total amount of chicken to make for a restaurant. This comes in handy with running a KFC restaurant (especially the ones in Skyland, Washington, D.C. and Gainesville, VA).

Second, F stands for the fryer temperature for cooking the fried chicken. For example, you would set the fryer to 360° Fahrenheit to make better chicken. The less the temperature, the less people will want to eat it, which makes for less pieces in the end. This was probably pretty obvious, eh?

Third, and lastly, C² means the amount of chicken coming from the suppliers, squared for the perfect portions of the meal. From this point, it's pretty simple. Use your calculator for that. Fun fact: Nicole Scherzinger discovered this method when she worked at a KFC franchise as a teenager. It has made serving much easier since then.

Alright, so now that we've covered the whole equation, let's add an example up.

Ex. K = FC²
K = 370° x 10²
K = 370° x 100
K = 37000

There you go! A top-secret Kentucky Fried Chicken formula and business helper, coined by no other than Colonel Sanders. Hope this helps!

It's the way they make KFC and how you could make some, too. It's the perfect deal!

Units analysis tells this formula is broken. chickens = degrees F * chickens^2?
