You have to drive a car made the year you were born. What do you choose?



For me, 1981 was a horrible year for cars, so my choices are slim. I would get this though:

If I said my birth year, you may put me in a nursing home:)

I had a 1983 Honda Shadow 750... but if I could choose a car from '83 it'd have to be a Porsche 944

Ha! And to think people once bought these ('57 Chevy for the neophytes) to take their kids to church! And you're right, '81 was a rotten year, in nearly every sense of the word.

Would that I were 32. (Your generation is too stupid to recognize the subjective case in English, so this is a statement contrary to fact). Do the arithmetic, young man, someone born in the year of our Lord 1957 is 55, or at least I am, given the fact that my birthday has already past.

You'd be nothing more than a hoot in the night, except you will share the future with my own kids. I hope you are snuffed out early, so as to make room for those that will count!!!

Automotively speaking, 1973-1982 has been referred to as "The Era of Malaise" and we have the Muslim jihadists to thank for that one, too. That being said, here's a fine car from 1981...
