RIP Chad Everett

Lost fact; A conservative Republican, Everett made headlines in 1972 after going toe to toe with Lily Tomlin on ‘The Dick Cavett Show.’ Tomlin, a feminist, became outraged after Everett referred to his wife, horse and dog as his ‘property.’ A 1977 Time magazine profile on Tomlin says she was so infuriated that she ‘stunned even herself’ by storming off the set.”

He is now reunited with his property because his wife of 45 years passed away last year. I think the horse and dog also preceded him in death.

I was a big Medical Center fan as a kid. Funny, the shit we used to watch in the 70s that our kids wouldn't be caught dead watching today.

Yes but who would have thought our kids as teenagers today would want to dress the same way we did in the 80s?

That is UCLA Medical Center in the opening. They never said UCLA in the show though, only calling it "The University" or "Medial Center."
