I tend to drink a lot. It's what I like to do and I know I drink but too much to be long-term healthy. However, I am always amused when I read that anything over two drinks in one sitting is bing drinking.

Seriously, that would make virtually everyone who goes out to watch a game a bing drinker.

So I ask, how much do you drink? There has to be some people out there who drink a lot but aren't alcoholics right?


I drink after work 3-4 days a week and on weekends. I'll typically have 8-10 12 ounces beers sometimes I'll have two or three more when I get home. Yeah it's a lot but I have built up a tolerance and feel fine the next morning. I have a professional job and drinking has not impact on it. I don't consider myself an aolcoholic..I just enjoy having a few with freinds.

I drink more than I don't. It's nice to take a night off once in a while to see how much better I feel in the morning.

I'm in the same boat. I drink about the same amount. Pretty much every night. I always make it to work on time and have no problem doing my job. I also don't consider myself an alcoholic as I don't crave booze when I'm sober (well, sometimes if it's a shitty day) and if I have something going on after work where I can't drink, I don't have a problem abstaining from it. Some People still judge me for it (my mother, unfortunately, is one of them) but I just don't care what they think.

I don't drink anymore. Or any less either.

I used to drink. Not trying to lecture, but if your tolerance has built up,you might want to rethink your drinking. I had a friend who was pulled over and had an alcohol level that would have put most people in the hospital. Not a sermon,just a thought.

I drink one or two good beers, Usually Gennius. My girlfriend has three wine glasses.

If you're drinking 8-10 beers 3-4 times a week you might want to consider AA. That's a serious amount of beer to drink in a week. Good luck with your health. Hopefully you're still in your 20's so you haven't done to much damage.

That amount is definitely a drinking problem. I drink a couple of beers a night. I don't drink to get buzzed or anything like that. I hate feeling hungover and I don't like room spins.

i drink to get buzzed and drunk, there is no point in taking a drug if you are not trying to feel the effects.

I drink socially. A few beers or liquor/soda drinks if I'm at a cookout or something. I may get a little buzz, but my getting hammered days are over. In fact, when I go out with my homies I'm always the DD simply because I have no problem not drinking.

I noticed too JBass. Fortunately for me, I printed out the pics of you in the tank top fishing and have them by my computer, by the toilet, and in the bedroom.

i have 15-16 beers a day every day

Today is Friday. I will drink to get drunk.. I will have over 10 drinks tonight.. I will probly black out.
Maybe some other treats too.

Oh and also....



 

I drink once or twice a week, more when traveling. Usually I'll just have a few glasses of red wine or a vodka tonic.

I would probably drink more often if alcohol had zero calories... like making it a habit to have a single glass of wine with dinner.

10 beer blackout??? Only if it DFH 90min. or something comparable. You have much to learn and not much time... Your 20s are fleeting away from you. Get it in, GET IT IN!

Oh, 'other treats' will certainly help that blackout threshold.... Unless its that lady, in which case you'll need a bit more that a 12 pack to get you there. Do this... Bottle of Jack, a ball-o-blow and about 5 ambien. Lock your doors, force yourself to stay awake and enjoy.

You guys who drink 10-12 beers per day...do you have a beer gut? Isn't it hard to physically down that much liquid?
