Butthurt snowflakes who can't stand criticism of Daddy LFF defend his honor by shutting down an independent forum. They have their pants around their ankles hoping he notices.
They also don't realize that photos can be turned off on the page making their hard work worthless.
God dammit Mike. Christmas rolls around and everybody (including spouses) get together to work their asses off to make Fruitcakes to sell to support the show. Does Mike participate? No. Then he says that he would like to be sent a bunch of free Fruitcakes to hand out to his "friends" in Florida to show them what "The Show" did? What? Fuck you Mike.
Then we come up to the end of the football season and Mike, in true Mike fashion, tries to get out of paying his loses. He wants the show to pick that up. Fuck you Mike, you would never let Robb or Oscar get out of a debt if you won. Robb new exactly what he was doing bringing money to cover his bet, he was making a point. I will be VERY surprised if they do a football pool next year. I wouldn't, and I would tell Mike exactly why I am not participating.
Mike O'Meara is a fucking punk.
(Yet I will still listen and still come on this thread to bitch about him because it is fun. Fuck you assholes who cannot accept it. Bite me.)
On Wednesday's show, O'Meara's absolute obsession with Oscar's wife Shannon came up once again. She was in the TMOS video that Maddy made re: the making of the stupid fruitcakes and it was obvious that Mike spent significant time watching Shannon in that video. He talked about how Shannon is the girl next door type and there's just something about her. Creepy & disgusting and Oscar never calls Mike out (on the show) for talking about his obsession with her.
O'Meara attempted to defend his "4 hours workday" (most days he most likely works 2 hours!). He says "Yea, but there's never an off switch" implying that he's thinking of TMOS 24 hours a day and that contributes to the show. He keeps saying they are in radio . Which reminds me how O'Meara was during the Don & Mike days - Geromino was complaining how Mike always got into the studio 5 mins or so before broadcast leaving show prep etc. all to Don.

The show has been pretty solid for the last year or so, with very minimal weird stuff from Mike.
There's still some occasional weird stuff, don't get me wrong. But he must be in a better space in life, because the show does what it's supposed to do --- entertain.
- Still boring, with both Rob & Oscar cackling like it was the funniest material you would ever hear.
- they continue to obsess with being the best sounding podcast, while putting out extremely vanilla material and never seeking to improve content. They all still refer to being in radio, and can’t improve without realizing they are a podcast.
- they are finally begging for donations via a new TMOS patron society link after experimenting with Facebook stars while refusing to recognize that customers buying stars Is the same thing as a donation. Advertising is down due to Covid.
- Oscar got wasted during the last Friday cocktail party & then proceeded during the bonus show to say that he had not taken a salary for almost 3 months. A huge debacle occurred because Mike was embarrassed that he couldn’t pay him and that this had occurred several times in the past. Mike proceeded to diss Chad Dukes & the Junkies basically saying that he was more talented than them, yet they kept their radio jobs and he was just not appreciated by powers that be. Oscar also got wasted about a week earlier on BOAD, “quitting” that show several times and saying some horrible things to others.
- A new bit that all 3 do now is to cackle during the movie or tv clip after the opening segment with Mike still commenting & trying to show his vast knowledge of these movies Etc. while still sounding like a doddering old man (which he is). Guaranteed that Mike ordered the other 2 to participate.
The show has become unlistenable unless you're politically like-minded. The first half has turned into Mike's non-stop fear mongering Covid talk and bitching about people not wearing masks or anti-Trump talk. Every. Day.
Then every subject brought up on the show is politicized with Mike's biased opinions. The constant ranting and bitching is not funny or entertaining. He's driven away half of his listeners and nobody wants to buy the bonus show to listen to his ranting.
Mike's ever growing insecurities and jealousy of people more successful is tiresome.

I think what may be growing is your notice of his jealousy. I recently went back to listen to the episode that had Mike's rude dismissal of Buzz's support for improving shuttle visibility by getting up a little higher, and in his ensuing tantrum where he tells Buzz to F-off and calls him a d-bag, Mike attempted some jab about a TV appearance Buzz must have made that seemed laced with jealousy. That was 2012. (4/17/12)
I've been souring on Mike myself. The more I take the time to check out other pods, the farther away I am from this putz.
If anyone has a top 5 type list of episodes where Mike bites the head off someone on his team, I'd love to revisit others as well.

I noticed the blatant requests for donations as well. I'll be honest with you, I listen to the show every day, mostly just as background noise unless something is said that piques my interest, and I couldn't tell you one advertiser they still have. They all come and go so fast I quit even trying to figure it out. The last one I remember was the drink additive to make you hydrated. I've been listening since the beginning and I have never purchased anything based on the shows advertisers. The fact that they cannot get ANY guests to come on the show should tell you something. It's a nothing show. Might as well be three random college guys hosting a podcast, not three broadcast professionals. Mike needs to retire. Oscar needs to focus on being a business person and Robb, well, I guess he can go back to the grocery industry. Mike has just become a bitter old man. But, I still listen everyday because who doesn't want to be there when they decide it's over.
The economy sucks, but the show is pretty consistent now. Some occasional O'Meara flare ups, and he still doesn't 100% know what works best for his own show, but it's generally pretty fun.
The problem is that Mike is right. Still, I just fast forward to the 35 minute mark and enjoy the meat of the show.

He Mike, or whichever of his minions are monitoring this forum.
I used to be a P-1 listener, subscribed to premium content, came to your shows, bought you book, all that shit. I stopped paying for content and listening regularly maybe 4 years ago, don't think I've listened at all since 2018.
You and especially Robb aren't that interesting. You reacting to other people (Don, Buzz, RJ, even BA McBride) was fun.
Only reason I felt like sharing this was I was listening to old D&M shows youtube and felt the need to tell you it was always better when it wasn't the lazy old man ranting show.
Driving around today I went past a quick care and they had a digital marquee sign out front with quick little advertisement messages, time, weather, stuff like that. One of the adverts was "some of my best friends are flu-ish" and for a second I had a mild panic attack thinking Robb had followed me where I live.
Because the only person who thinks a 50 year-old pun counts as entertainment and premium quality comedy is that waste of good oxygen Robb Spewak.
Hey Mike, why don't you put your dog in the garage before starting the fucking show? EVERY FUCKING DAY you yell at it. Do something about it you fucking dumbass.

Remember when Don and Mike used to shit on Kathie Lee for constantly bringing up Cody?
Any chance Michael can join the dog in the garage?
