Have to be honest - the show is pretty decent now. The guys are having fun and being a lot more honest. I checked back in maybe six weeks ago and realized today that I'm a listener again.
Last time I was here three or four years ago, it was dead. Maybe it still is. Maybe the improbable success of the show is a reason for that?
One of Blobb's uncles passed away over the weekend. Blobb mentioned that luckily all of uncle's siblings were local and were able to visit his hospital room before he passed. Blobb had already mentioned this a couple of times, when LFF once again displayed his poor listening skills/alcoholic dementia by being surprised that all the siblings were able to visit, and asking if they were all local.
How in the hell do they expect to attract new listeners when the host doesn't even pay attention?

What with all that show prep he does he should be able to pay full attention to what is being said in the now, then immediately navigate to the next topic. Mike "Scattagories" O'Meara.

Yeah I'm sure national syndication is right around the corner.
Wait, nope, still playing radio for a dwindling crowd. We will see this out
Now they are doing the stupid Yak Shack 2 days in a row. Yesterday, for almost a full segment and today for almost the whole show. This is how they "improve" their show - they do whatever they can to decrease Mike's show prep. And O'Meara used his biggest crutch at least a dozen times today: "Oh and By the Way". All extremely boring.
Mike admitted many times over the past few weeks how he constantly steals Mikie's goodies - especially anything ice cream. A great father.
It has become abundantly clear that Rob is extremely jealous of Rob Ford, using mostly fat jokes of all things about him. First Tony Perkins and now Oscar have praised his work and last week Oscar took him to Houston to begin preparations for the the Podcast Village produced show about Bush senior. It all just kills Rob.
Oscar announced at the very end of the show that they are taking a day off tomorrow. They think they are in radio where many jocks feel they have to hide until the very last minute that they are taking vacation days from fear of losing ratings. You are NOT a radio show dumbasses. To improve the content you first need to accept that you are a podcast.
All his kids come up to Maine to surprise him for his birthday. The big baby whines that he didn't also have a wrapped package to open. He loudly claimed that despite this behavior, he's not a monster. Sixty years old.
The big baby fans of this lousy podcast can't handle any criticism. How about you defend your show instead of the coward's way of posting easy-to-block big files to try to derail this thread? Don't have anything positive to say about the show, so try to overwhelm the thread instead? Cry, baby, cry!
Mike & Rob talk regularly about how some TV or other type show is so vanilla. They need to turn that insight inward and realize just how vanilla their own show has become. They keep talking about improvements to the audio & video of their show and make fun of other media audio for being so poor. But they need to worry about their own crappy, vanilla content that they release on a daily basis & work on improving it.
