When is Mike taking his next personal day? Will it be Monday, St. Drunkass Day?

I prefer happy go lucky Oscar. But Grandpa Grumpy won't let him have any air time. I am very concerned about GG's statement about getting more involved in the direction and content of the show....nothing good will come from that.

I listen to the entirety of every show. Robb shoe-horning...yep, but mostly when Mike is there. What I have noticed is that the show just seems to have a different dynamic when any one of the three principals is out. I like those shows better. It does not matter who is out, and I am not saying that I would want any of the three of them to go permanently, but maybe they switch it up a bit and have more episodes of just two of them instead of always shooting to have the three.
I love how Mike tries to be "clever" by referring to Southwest Florida as Westsouth Florida. Hey Mike, nobody calls that compass setting Westsouth. You sound like an absolute idiot when you do it. And I hope your stupid little spawn picks up on your colloquialisms and is deemed to be an idiot by his teachers and classmates.

No, no, no. You must understand that the show is like a souffle.............

Good thing Oscar does not have a security clearance. I loved how he entered the conversation about Shannon and the car keys saying he could not say anything.....then proceeds to tell the listening audience the entire story as it pertains to the car keys!
- Mike once again demonstrated that he is the worst interviewer ever. His "questions" to the intern's Mom went on for minutes at a time. He always takes up at least double the time of the person he interviews.
- Today they did a team pick for the NCAA brackets because they still think they are still on radio, and all the jocks do it. There is not even a competition for TMOS picks in this iteration - doesn't even make sense as well as being boring.

Mikes ability to converse, let alone interview, someone other than those directly associated with the show is gone. He cannot do it anymore. Everything is so scripted that it makes it impossible to listen to.. He is going to get his points across regardless of the natural flow of the conversation.
So they have a show that directly relies on listeners to generate funding to keep the show alive, and they cut those listeners out of something as simple as a sports bracket. How much effort would that have taken? I personally hate basketball and hope they never even mention it during the tournament, but I bet they have a lot of fans that would enjoy some sort of interaction with the show regarding the games.
I hope the hell he content of the past few weeks shows is not the results of the "direct action plan" Mike promised to implement to get the show were it needs to be! Boring? HELL YES. If Oscar had not gone to AZ there would have been zero content.
I am still waiting on the souffle. Hell all three of them were there and we had hard boiled, scrambled and over easy.
Since the Mueller report came out at 4pm, by now Mike is shitfaced hammered and Carla has taken the boy and left for good.
Tomorrow should be a great show! Mike on a hair trigger hangover and lots of mm-hmms and yeps from Robbb.
Better run a tight board Robbby!
On today's show, O'Meara spent almost an entire segment having the boys guess what movie he watched with Michael this weekend that got him verklempt several times. Neither Oscar or Rob could guess - it was Dolphin's Tale 2. Comedy Genuius - Not! Also, Every time Mike says that stupid word verklempt it makes me want to barf.
They spent another segment discussing the new movie US. Rob makes the stupid statement that $70 million opening weekend was great for an R-rated movie. $70 million is equivalent to around only $47 million in inflation adjusted dollars in year 2000 as an example. Mr. MBA Oscar never calls out the other 2 and jumps on the bandwagon.
The streak of boring shows (except for a segment or two occasionally) continues.
I was just about to detune out today when Mike reeled me back in by declaring that instead of one person winning 750 million dollars in a lottery, "they outta make it so everybody gets 50 bucks.
That's adorable...
I'll call it "Mike's Lefty Liberal Lottry" idea and I believe it would probably equal the popularity and success of his play radio show.
It's been a while since Mike gave us such a shiny gem!
26:10 for those playing at home.
I listened twice.
Robbb explaining how lotteries kinda work at about 27:25 is a rare brass rimg for him.

Congratulations to TMOS - they have discussed the Movie US for at least 4 shows in a row, and most of those shows for almost entire segments. And a few days ago, Mike got in a fight with Carla after getting to their seats for US because of him being an asshole. So when he sees it by himself finally, the movie will be discussed yet again. WTF?
Today, Rob ran through a list of interns to see if Mike had met them on the video feed and if he remembered meeting the ones he had. For the ones that he had met, he couldn't remember the majority of the metings. And hell, he couldn't remember that two who had left fairly recently. Either he has dementia or he pays no attention to his shows. Probably a combination of both! And WTH does a little podcast need all those interns for anyway?
