Shame for her. I actually met her once on the "Three Hour Cruise" aboard the Dandy in DC a few years ago. She was the guest of honor and was quite charming. When she was introduced to the Captain of the dandy for a photo op, someone asked her to put on the Captains hat. She laughed slightly then gave the eye to the Captain who took his hat off. She placed it on her head and posed for pictures. She was delightful.

She was a class act that day and doubt she is anything but today.

Sort of recently deceased Gilligan, Bob Denver, did have issues with drugs. He lived his remaining years in Parker something West Va. He had a listed phone number and anyone could call. If he did not recognize the number off caller id his machine picked up. If it was a business opportunity - speaking engagement etc, and he was interested, he would call back - collect.
