Bachmann Calls it Quits

She's consoled, no doubt, by the knowledge that she can continue to damage to our nation from her Congressional seat.

“Wall Street is typically thought of as investment banking
and banking and we were not an investment bank or a bank.
But we were in the financial services sector generally,"
Romney said. "I am not a Wall Street guy, classically
defined.” - Willard "Mitt" Romney, December 29, 2011.

She's quitting so she can spend more time around the mental ward.

Or perhaps to keep her hysterically effeminate husband from relapsing.

Looking forward to the Playboy shoot so she pay off her campaign debts.

No surprise. She never had a chance to begin with.

I thought she was the lunatic tea party darling that the republicans were sure to nominate? What happened to all the liberal asshats predicting a tea party surge would save their precious Barak? Idiots, all of you.

None of them did/do. Regardless the GOP nominee, President
Obama will win re-election.

She'll probably use the money from her inevitable book deal.

While many will disagree with you, I'm not going to debate that. What I meant is that she never had a chance to win as the republican nominee.

The GOP will nominate Romney (aka McCain, aka Dole). The base will be too bored to turn out for this stiff.

LOL. This is your new pick for the nominee. It has been changing so often, it is hard to keep up. I guess a blind squirrel does find a nit once in a while.

The problem with your base theory is that the base will show up to vote against Obama and Obama's base is the one that will fail to be enthusiastic after seeing his performance. Compound that with the fact that barely any of the 2008 first time voters will re-materialize and it spells trouble for Obama.

You know, opinions are like assholes...

You're certainly entitled to yours, but I disagree.

I've seen no indication that the GOP base is fired
up. If it was, there would have been a far larger
turnout last night in Iowa. Maybe, back in the
2009 - 2010 teabagger heyday, they WERE fired-up,
but today?

Don't bet on that. A lot of us are more motivated to go to the polls by the need to prevent bat shit crazy Republicans from taking over the country than by the desire to reelect Obama. If Romney were actually allowed to be Romney, then he might not be so bad. But the nutjobs won't allow that, and Romney will allow them to determine his agenda.

Of course you do. But, more importantly, why do I care that you are confused

Not necessarily. Voting FOR someone is vastly different than voting AGAINST Obama.

Polls indicate the GOP holds a 5-10 point advantage in voter enthusiasm. Couple that with a huge swing by independents away from Obama and the 2008 first timers not showing up, Obama will be in for a real fight to the end.

If Obama is going to do so well, and you are so confident of his victory, these two questions will be easy to answer:

1) Will Obama pick up any states he lost in 2008? Which one(s)?
2) Which states (if any) will he lose that he won in 2008?

He will not lose any of the states he won in 2008.

That WAS easy!

Yes he will. He will lose any one (if not more) of these: FL, VA, NC, and IN.

But, once again, you got it wrong.

Take it to the bank. Good money says you won't be man enough to come here on November 7, and admit to being wrong. Partly because you'll be yoo involved in your pity party and partly because you won't admit to being wrong.

How do I "loose" coin? If Obama wins every state mentioned above, I come on here and admit to you being correct. If the opposite happens, you admit to being wrong. On the other hand, if you want a real monetary wager, I am willing to arrange that. How much can you afford to lose?

See, when you proposed a bet & mentioned 'the bank',
I thought you were talking about an imaginary money wager.

I'm okay w/that.

I'm not comfortable revealing my true, non-superhero identity
to some random nutbag on an internet blog (no offense).

Oh, I see, you meant to say "lose." English is tough for you too?

Now, if you could only decide which name to post your admission under. Signing in and out too difficult for you too? Have you been so humiliated that you have had to resort to hijacking names? Ooops, looks like you are really pissed today.

Do you mean like a random nutbag that has to hijack names? Or the kind that can't think of a creative way to exchange money without revealing an identity?

Look how disheveled you are today. You are hijacking names and can't even keep them straight. Are all Obama supporters as discombobulated and obsessed as you are? Again, thanks for the verification that I totally messed with your game all day. How desperate were you to make the pain stop? Looks like you were desperate enough to hijack names.
